Open ended game
Open-ended play, also referred to as "free play or open-ended play," refers to a style of play where children have the freedom to create their own play and activities without specific rules or prescribed goals. It is an approach to play that stimulates children's imagination, creativity and autonomy.
Open-ended play encourages children to decide for themselves how to play, what to do and what materials to experiment with. Instead of there being a set end result, the emphasis is on the process of playing and discovering. Children can take on different roles, imagine scenarios, use objects in new and unexpected ways, creating their own game worlds.
This style of play promotes not only creativity and imagination, but also children's social interaction and communication skills. It stimulates problem-solving thinking, flexibility and self-expression. Open-ended play can take place in both indoor and outdoor play environments and can be supported by a variety of play materials, such as blocks, costumes, art supplies, sand and water, and much more. The collective name for the play materials is open-ended toys or open-ended toys. Well-known brands include Stapelstein , Connetix , Abel Blocks , Just Block's and Raduga Grez .
